About the Watches 03 questions
How can I set the time on my Northgate watch?

We set the time to European time. If you want to change the time, you must first “unscrew” the crown. We use a screw-down crown to protect the watch and enhance water resistance.

  1. Remove the watch from your wrist and hold it in your left hand, preferably over a table to prevent dropping.
  2. Firmly grasp the crown between your thumb and forefinger, and turn it towards you. You will feel the crown unscrew from the case.
  3. When you hear a “click,” the crown is loose and can be pulled out. Set the time as needed.
  4. Push the crown back in until you hear a “click,” then screw it down firmly against the case.

Is my Northgate watch water-resistant?

Yes, but please note: Water is a watch’s greatest enemy. Our watches are designed for everyday use and classified as ‘dress watches.’ They are splash-proof (water-resistant 10ATM), so you can wash your hands and walk in rain or snow while wearing your watch.

WARNING: After setting the time, ensure the crown is screwed tightly back. Otherwise, water can easily enter the case. Water damage is not covered by the warranty.

What materials does Northgate use for the watches?

All our watches are assembled with great care to ensure durability and high quality, comparable to high-end brands.

All models feature:

  • Anti-Reflection Coated Sapphire Crystal.
  • 316L Stainless Steel – extremely strong, corrosion-resistant, and non-magnetic steel, also used in surgical instruments.
  • Diamond-cut hands & markers – for a brilliantly sharp finish.
  • Swiss Made Superluminova BWG9 on hands and markers.
  • Stainless Steel integrated bracelet with butterfly clasp and Quick Release system.
  • Screw-down crown – for extra water protection.
